In ancient folklore trees represented strength and wisdom and so it makes complete sense that wood is the traditional gift for the fifth anniversary.  The marriage is growing stronger with each year and wisdom about how to cherish and nurture each other increases day by day.
We use genuine red oak for all of our Wood Anniversary gifts.
